Syed Hasnain Ahmed (1929 – 2015 ) May Allah grant him a place in His Jannah, Ameen.

My father was Syed Hasnain Ahmed. He starting writing an autobiography around the year 2000, and published it in 2004, in Pakistan. He wrote the book in Urdu.

I remember him as an avid reader of books and magazines, throughout his life. In retirement, as he had more time on his hands, he began reading books on a wide range of topics. His favorite subject was History. His autobiography is well informed by this knowledge, and because he traveled extensively across the globe, he often presents his recollections and observations within a historical context.

He shared the published work with family and friends. I am sharing the book in pdf format via the link “My Father’s Autobiography” above.

He had also wanted me to translate it to English. That work is on-going and once completed I will post the English version on this web-site as well, Inshallah.
